An AI analyst that sends management yesterday's sales summary at 7 a.m. every day

A four-store retail chain in Yangon. Management used to wait for the sales or accounting team to tally yesterday's numbers. Now the brief lands in the group chat before the doors open, and anyone can ask Yoyo a follow-up question in their own language.

  • 82mornings in a row the AI sent the brief on its own
  • 641days of sales the AI reads line by line
  • 3languages the team uses with it: Thai, English, Burmese

The problem

All four stores' sales were already in the point-of-sale system. Turning them into something management could read still took someone pulling data, building a spreadsheet and passing it along. By the time a problem store showed up, a day or two had gone and it was too late to act.

The store teams work in three languages, and a simple question like "how did store two do yesterday?" waited for whoever held the file to be free. Store managers rarely saw their own numbers.

What I built

  1. 01

    Everyone reads the same numbers

Every night the system pulls every store's sales into one file per day, unbroken since day one. Every report and every answer from Yoyo reads from this one source, so there is never more than one version of the numbers.

  2. 02

Daily, weekly and monthly reports arrive by themselves

At 07:00 a Thai and English PDF brief goes to the management and merchandising groups on its own. Weekly and monthly summaries are produced and filed to Drive the same way. Nobody sits down to build them any more.

  3. 03

Any question, ask it in the chat

Short commands show today's sales or compare stores and weeks, or anyone can ask Yoyo a plain question in Thai, English or Burmese. A store manager can look at their own numbers any time, without waiting for anyone.

  4. 04

A dashboard on the phone, open anywhere

Sales, margin, categories, promotions, a product lookup, the influencer schedule and a chat with Yoyo, all in one app. Owner, managers and staff each see what their role should see.

  5. 05

Reports that took a day by hand, now one command

Weekly and monthly sales workbooks, slow movers across all four stores, stock in every location and own-brand share against target. Each used to be a day of spreadsheet work; now one command produces the whole set.

Where the AI works, and how it is kept honest

  • Safeguard

    AI drafts, code checks

The executive summary is written by AI, but before it goes out a program compares every number with the source data once more. If a single figure doesn't match, that report is not sent, so management can trust what they read.

  • Safeguard

    Read-only by design

When someone asks Yoyo a question in the chat, the AI can read the data files and nothing else: no editing, deleting or running commands. Even a message written to trick it has nothing to work with.

  • Safeguard

Chat digests with no tools at all

The AI that summarises team conversations has no tools whatsoever and a name filter, so nothing written in a chat can make it act.

The result

Before

The weekly sales report took 2 hours a week to put together

Store managers waited for someone to send them a file

After

The brief arrives by itself at 07:00, and the weekly report every Monday

They ask Yoyo in the chat and get the answer right away, in their own language
