How I work · problem → AI → working system

From a business problem to an AI system in daily use

It starts with a real problem on the floor, turned into clear requirements. AI then helps design, build and check the work, until the team has a system it can rely on every day.

Instruction to AI01 / 03

Every morning I want to know which store is down and which products are stuck, without waiting for sales or accounting to tally the numbers

  • Yesterday's sales for all four stores reach the management group at 07:00, every day, with nobody preparing them.
  • See at once which store is down and which products are running out or stuck, with a suggestion of what to do next.
  • Ask Yoyo in the chat in Thai, English or Burmese. Answers come from the real figures, checked by code before they go out.

Instruction to AI02 / 03

Goods from Thai suppliers reach Myanmar by several routes, through three companies. Every "where is this shipment?" goes round the chat groups. Give all three one shared view, from the invoice to the warehouse.

  • See where every packing list is, who holds it and when it lands, without asking. Late or silent lists surface on their own.
  • Every invoice is checked to the satang, so the far end can confirm at once that the goods and prices match.
  • Every move is posted to Telegram for all three companies, and Mark, the AI assistant, answers questions about every move.

Instruction to AI03 / 03

We sell across six online channels, but the team has to go through multiple reports to understand what drives sales, how far we are from target, and which orders need attention. Bring that information together so we can see what’s happening and act in one place.

  • See total sales and channel performance, with progress against monthly targets.
  • Explore peak selling hours, best-selling products, and orders that need follow-up using the same data.
  • Ask Amily, the AI analyst, to analyse sales across the different stages of a promotion.

  1. 01 · Retail, 4 stores

An AI analyst that sends management yesterday's sales summary at 7 a.m. every day

A four-store retail chain in Yangon. Management used to wait for the sales or accounting team to tally yesterday's numbers. Now the brief lands in the group chat before the doors open, and anyone can ask Yoyo a follow-up question in their own language.

    • 82mornings in a row the AI sent the brief on its own

  2. 02 · Cross-border trade, Thailand–Myanmar

A console that follows goods across the border, from invoice to warehouse

An import business between Thailand and Myanmar, run by three companies in two countries. Goods travel by truck, air, sea and hand carry. Finding out where a shipment was used to mean asking around in chat groups. Now all three companies open the same screen and see which stage each packing list is at, who holds it, when it will land, and whether the invoice matches the goods.

  3. 03 · Online sales, 6 channels

Every online channel on one screen, against the month's target

An imported brand selling on six channels. Knowing the day's total used to mean opening each platform's back office and adding it up. Now one screen shows total and per-channel sales, progress against target, sales by the hour and the orders that need attention, and the team can ask Amily in Thai, with every answer citing its source.

Small jobs that save time make a business more efficient too

Not every problem needs a big system. A small routine task that eats the team's time every day, designed well and helped by AI, can lose steps, take less time and give that time back for more valuable work. It's the Business Efficiency principle I always keep in mind.

From a product list to a four-page flyer

Every promotion meant cutting out product photos one by one and laying the flyer out by hand. Now staff drop the photos in a folder and double-click one file: an on-device AI removes every background offline, and the promotion is laid out as a four-page A4 flyer straight from the Excel product list.

My team · 4 roles · working every day

I didn't hire an IT team.
I built an AI one.

Each one has a clear job: raw business data goes in, work that managers can act on straight away comes out, and a program checks the AI's work before any of it reaches a person.

How I work with AI, in 4 steps

The best use of AI isn't the smartest model. It's knowing what AI can do, and framing the business problem clearly.

  1. Frame the business problem before starting

I settle the goals, scope and key conditions with AI and write every decision down as the reference. The work moves faster and nothing has to be redone later.

ProofThe meeting app was built on 36 written decisions; this site started from 27.

  2. The right model for each job

With a clear brief, it's clear which AI suits which task: Claude for analysis and building systems, Codex for some builds, OpenAI for transcription.

ProofThe online sales dashboard was built with Codex; Yoyo picks a Claude model by how hard the question is.

  3. Each AI sees only what it needs

Once the work is split up, each AI can reach only the data its job needs, like giving staff keys to just the rooms they use. The limit is built into the system, not an instruction we hope the AI follows.

ProofThe chat assistant can only read the data; it can't change or delete anything.

  4. Every figure can be audited

Before anything reaches a person, AI can write the summary, but it does not work out the numbers. Every figure is calculated by a program from the real data and checked against the source again, so each one can be traced back.

ProofThe executive summary is held back if a single figure doesn't match.

    Orbit Minutes

PainAfter every meeting, waiting for a secretary to write up and summarise the minutes

Tap record as the meeting starts, in Thai, English or Burmese. When it ends, AI transcribes it and sets out what was agreed, who took which task and when it is due. Check it, then send it as text, PDF or Word in Thai or English, and each task reminds its owner before the deadline.

    Happy Pocket

PainEveryday bills and expenses never get sorted into categories

The app reads banking notifications and logs where and how much you paid, with the category already guessed by AI; you just confirm. A convenience-store receipt is scanned and split by category. Budgets, widgets and the in-app coach บก.วิติ๊ด sum up what you spent today. Everything stays on the phone.

    3,000 English Flashcards

PainWanting to remember the English words people actually use, and forgetting every list

Flashcards for the 3,000 most-used words, with spaced repetition: a word you are about to forget comes back by itself, and one you get right waits longer next time. AI wrote the explanation and example sentence for every word, and it all works offline.

    Vinyl Records

PainA friend inherited hundreds of records without knowing what each one was worth

Photograph a sleeve and the AI identifies the release and pressing, then pulls its market price from Discogs by condition; tap a grade and the price follows. A whole collection priced with one phone.

    Shanghai Travel Plan

PainTravelling in China without Google, with drivers who don't read English

An itinerary that opens without a connection. Every stop has its Chinese name and address, one tap away from DiDi or AMAP, and a "show the driver" button puts the Chinese name full-screen to hold up. Built in one evening.

    AI Usage

PainUsing Claude Code and Codex all day without knowing when the limits will run out

A small widget in the corner of the screen shows the 5-hour and weekly limits of both tools at once. Bars turn amber and red as they fill, so you can plan which work to finish before the quota runs out, and it expands into a 24-hour usage chart.
